S2 is finishing his sophomore year but we are already starting to tour some colleges. S1 looked almost exclusively at LACs (and we always made a point to visit when students were present) but S2 may be open to larger universities. The issue has come up because, while we can tour a small and mid-size school in our area on the remaining Saturdays before students leave for the summer, this may not be possible of our state flagship.
At this point our main objective is to determine a size fit. Do you think it’s possible for S2 to tell if a large university would be for him even if students have already gone home or would we be doing a disservice to the process?
