I’m filling out my med school application. One requirement is that you list your AP credits and the equivalent courses you were allowed to skip.

I was given 3.0 hours of English Literature credit for ENLT 249, but I can’t find the actual course title anywhere – searches through the COD back to 2003 were fruitless. Phone calls so far haven’t helped either. My guess is that ENLT 249 was dropped years ago but the Registrar folks have never updated the system.

Anyone know the title? Thanks.

It’s a made up course just for AP credit, just like the AP Euro class that doesn’t exist but you get credit for it if you pass the AP test.

Just to prove my point, the 96-97 ugrad record with no mention of the course, but mention of the class in the AP credits section, [Undergraduate Record: College of Arts & Sciences](http://www.virginia.edu/registrar/records/96-97ugradrec/uclas7.html#intro)

Uhhh so when it comes my time, what do you put down as a course title?

I dunno, “introductory literature seminar” seems like a good choice considering the subdepartment title (“Introductory Literature Seminars”).

Thanks, hazelorb. I guess I can wait a couple days to hear from prehealth before I submit my app. I just wondered if I was missing something obvious.
