The first few MC questions were difficult (one was easy, but the other 2 were hard) and were not good ways to start the exam, but the rest of the MC was better. I’d say it was between easy and medium; there were a few I wasn’t sure about. The FRQs were easy except for one or two parts in each one. I’m SOOO happy I did the predicting reactions in the PR book because they helped me tremendously with all three questions. My teacher didn’t teach us about the second and third reactions or the questions they asked, so I was probably the only one who got them (yes!). The FRQs this year were harder than past years in my opinion.

All in all, I can’t wait to get my score. I wasn’t so confident about my MC but I’m hoping I got a 5.

The MC the first couple I thought weren’t that great but after that for the most part they were easy except for maybe 1 or 2. The Free response the first part was pretty easy except for maybe 1 part in one of the frqs. And the part B was pretty difficult i thought. Especially the last question.

Yea I agree. I was breezing through the first MCs but they started to get more difficult as I progressed. I don’t know if it’s just me but I didn’t do well, at all, in the FRQ. I am sad because I studied so much for literally everything.

I have the same opinion. First couple of MC made me freak out a little bit, but then the questions got much much easier. Free Response…oh god…I would do much better if I had enough time. Some parts were extremelly easy and some just too confusing. I had to skip a couple on parts on 2 of the questions.

1 - Letters C and D were hard
2- Easy minus the last letter (i think it was g)
3 - I don’t remember…but I think it was pretty easy minus the last letter as well.
4 - I suck at writing equations
5 - Easy
6 - Easy…minus the last part…I can’t believe i read those kinetics graphs wrong. -_- oh well.

I thought the MC was pretty easy and Part A of the FR was also pretty easy, but I for sure failed the last part of Q6 with kinetics…I’m gonna say that I’ll probably get a 4, maybe a 5 if I’m lucky.

FR was SO freaking hard. After the proctor called time, I was seriously about to cry.
Do they curve it more if it’s harder (or more people do badly on it)? Or is a 5 just always set at 100/150?

I’m pretty sure the curve depends on how well everyone does on the test. More people do well, harsh curve. A lot of people do bad, generous curve.

This was my first AP test… I feel like a made a mistake taking Chemistry first instead of something easier.

The Multiple Choice questions where pretty easy. I was able to get all of them done and I understood most of the questions.

I did not do so greatly on the FRQs. I had to skip C and D of Q1 and some of the other questions too. For the net ionic equations I think I earned some credit for all of them even if it wasn’t a lot.
