<p>Can someone please explain the difference between Admitted Students Day and Honors Day and is it worthwhile to attend both ?</p>
<p>Admitted students day is a day for students who have been offered admissions to Pitt and is a chance for the school to sell themselves to these students</p>
<p>Honors day is for only students accepted into the honors college. Similar to admitted students day but only for honors college acceptances</p>
<p>If you can only go to one then go to the Honors Day. The opening remarks and opportunities to go to a class are well worth it. I believe the tours etc are pretty much the same for both days.</p>
<p>We will be attending the Day for Admitted Students on March 21 and looking forward to it very much. Honors or Regular admits, I think it is a very exciting time to hear what Pitt has to offer and say to parents and students ! I think it is great the way the school is so attentive and communicative via mail. My son has noticed all the mail that has arrived from Pitt in the past few weeks which been keeping his interest level high.</p>

My son has stats similar to yours. Did you receive any scholarship money from Pitt or anyone else?</p>
<p>Not from Pitt, but I applied after the deadline for scholarship consideration, and I’m still waiting for my FAFSA results. I received money from Drexel, Temple, and Saint Joseph’s though.</p>
<p>schoolmom, I didn’t receive any scholarship money from Pitt and I haven’t heard anything about financial aid packages yet though I do believe they are coming out mid-march (which should mean this or the following week!). The only school I got a scholarship from was Northeastern ($14,000/year)</p>
