I think the only section that won’t be scored, regardless whether it was 8 or 9, is the reading one
THANK GOD that was the one i screwed up on.
@holayola are you sure? the press release says “The time allotted for a specific math or reading section — either section 8 or 9, depending on the edition — was incorrect.”
@16elir it depends on what form, CR was section nine for me.
I hope my CR is the section that is invalidated because I don’t need to bring it up (got an 800 last time I took SAT). But I do want all of my Math and Writing sections to be counted. So that’d be good if my CR was kaput.
I want my CR to be counted-- 800 on the other two.
I’m panicking guys.
For the math section with the first grid in. it was something like what is a number that is a multiple of 11, between 20-50, and there was one more condition. what was the last one?
I put 22 but someone said it had to be odd. It would seriously suck if I lost my 800 to that
i thought that was it. i put 22 as well
Man. I remember seeing “positive integer” in the last part and now im realizing it could have said “positive odd integer”
pls no
22 would have worked, being off was no condition as far as I can remember
Does anyone else remember putting 22? I’m sure you guys remember your answers more clearly than the conditions… and if everyone else put 22 then I should be good lol
I’m pretty sure the condition was that it had to be an EVEN number… I put 22
yeah i’m pretty sure it didn’t say odd. That was like the first one on the free response. I’d be so sad if I missed it
What if CB is saying all this stuff about removing sec 8 and 9 and then still being able to provide accurate scores but in reality they are just scoring the test like usual, with sec 8 and 9. They’re just telling us they are doing all this stuff to act like theyre standardizing the exam, but it would take so much extra work to score the exams without 8 and 9 on the 2400 scale. Anyone think of this
for the multiple of 11 question would 33 have worked? thats what i put…
I put 33
@yousefk it had to be a multiple of 11, larger than 20 and less than 50 I think? I forget other thing. The answers you could put were 22, 33, and 44. I don’t think the final condition was odd.
yeah pretty sure it didn’t specify even/odd, i made sure of that. either 22 or 33 worked
@emersonballer21 They wouldn’t be able to do that because some students got the Student Answer Service lol
Hey guys. New member here. Me and my friends have been discussing whether the |h(x)| question on the math part of the test was 2 or 0, and is be interested in knowing your thoughts on the question. Thanks!
