@ZeBestName I put 2
@zebest it was 0
yeah i put 0 too. the graph hit h(x) = 0 multiple times. the trick here was to recognize the absolute value, while -2 was the lowest value absolute value of -2 > 0
But did it say x had to be an integer? I thought the graph only hit 0 at non-integer values
So which one is the one not getting graded for me: sec 8 was math and sec 9 was CR?
@annoyingorange My thought was that the dots had something to do with it. If so, the lowest dot value after an absolute value would be 2
@AmbitiousOrange Both sections won’t be graded
@ZeBestName according to college board official Twitter only the one which had the misprint on each form will not be graded
@ZeBestName See post #2063
@AmbitiousOrange On the official CB website, it says the affected sections will not be scored. Both 8 and 9 were affected, which caused some people to have 25 minutes, even though their section said 20, due to the different forms
@msdarcy Weird, I’d never seen that. Although from what I hear, people got 25 minutes on sections, even when their test didn’t have the misprint for that section.
@ZeBestName You don’t need a Twitter account to check their tweets:
Was the error on the math and reading sections or on just the reading ones?
@holayola It depends on the edition you got. Some were M, some were CR.
I talked to a friend and he said he had no error…is that possible? so nothing gets voided for him?
@msdarcy
My misprint was on the CR section only but for others it was on their math sections. So that means I will only have 2 CRs but all 3 Maths graded while another has 2 Maths and 3 CRs graded. This is flawed. I definitely trust what the official website says over the Twitter.
but does the website explicitly say both or does it just say “affected sections?” because the plural doesn’t necessarily mean both… it could mean whatever was affected for each person. if that makes any sense.
I’m just the messenger. That was from the CB’s official Twitter feed and it’s real time. The website hasn’t been updated since Sun night.
why do they have to be so ambiguous???/
I know emotions are high for everyone right now. Our family is taking a “wait and see” approach. It’s out of our control.
