@AffableCamel I took the real exams from the past two years and ranged from 61 to 63. I think that’s how I did on this. On the Barrons from 2013 I got got 57 both times. I think the review books are harder than the actual exam. Oh, and I absolutely tanked Princeton’s Review’s tests. They were very hard.

Lol thanks for your answer!

Lol thanks for your answer! Where did you get those past exams? Is it possible for you to PM those papers to me?

What did you guys put for additional documents?

Hey guys, does anyone have a google doc for this examination?

@AffableCamel ny teacher gave them to us

Hi I took the test this year and I feel like I was borderline 4-5 and my score will really just depend on the curve. I see less people got 5’s as the past few years went on. coming as low as 5.7% last year? does that mean collegeboard will try to curve it so more people get 5’s or does that mean there trying to get less people to have a 5? i guess i just don’t really how the collegeboard is gonna determine the curve this year and i really cant stop thinking about it so if someone could shine some light on how they’ll decide the curve this year so i dont feel so in the dark about guessing my score that would be great

Yeah, I posted a thread asking about the lower number of people getting fives in 2012 and 2013. Apparently it’s just because more sophomores who are not prepared are taking it

@HvePassion I am one of those sophomore, but luckily my teacher more than prepared us. She actually got Missouri “Teacher of the Year” because of her teaching. I am very fortunate :^)

@kylet800 ahhh you’re very lucky! Our school only offers 2 APs (Calc and Physics), so I had to self study all of the APs I took this year :(

is it possible to still get a 4 even if i completely bombed the ccot and probably got a zero on it?
I probably got a total score of 10 on the other essays and in the high 50’s for the mc

^yeah

Just remember - even if your essays were bad, at least they weren’t as bad as those in this essay:

hey guys, just wondering, for those who took the AP World History exam, which prep books (and/or other materials) did you use and how relevant/useful would you say the information/practice tests were in preparing for the AP Exam?

@observeraffect LOL Martin Luther didn’t nail it but got nailed…now that’s sad. I wonder what those kids got on their essays?

I remember writing like crazy on the essay portion of the exam. I added some incorrect information but I also threw in a lot of valid information. I hope I didn’t end up contradicting myself. The multiple choice was easy, but for the SAT World Exam, now that’s a different story.

How did you guys do on the multiple choice? I think I missed a few, which means I probably missed around ten. Sigh.

@icequeenforever I actually felt really confident about my MC. At most I think I missed around seven (more or less) questions, but then again I answered those with educated guesses. I really think I got a 5 overall with my MC plus that dbq and decent CCOT/CC.

@ElusivelyGreat98 I used educated guesses for about 5 of them and there were 2 that I truly had no idea about, but I guessed on those too. Good thing I didn’t omit anything…anyway, I felt confident after it was over but not much anymore, maybe it’s because I’m really nervous about my score! The essays were pretty easy, except on the CCOT I accidentally talked about Latin America while I was supposed to be discussing only Africa. Maybe it’ll count for global context though. I really hope I get a 5 :]

@College123college I used the Princeton Review and the 5 Steps to a 5. I feel that both really helped out, and i really liked that the information that wasn’t in the Princeton Review was in the 5 Steps to a 5. I also felt like both books prepared me extremely well for the AP Exam.
