For the CCOT, what if you misunderstood the word “inter-regional” and wrote only about trade WITHIN a region…is that automatically a zero for the essay?

That compare and contrast killed me. Everything else was okay

Okay. It’s posted here. What does interregional trade even mean?

I was so confused about the definition of interregional. Was going to talk about things within the region, but then I realized there was literally NOTHING to talk about for my choice. So I talked about international trade and mercantilism and stuff.

MC was suspiciously easy lol, dbq i think i did enough to get a 5, maybe 6,7. CCOT, half bs’d, c/c fullish bs. I think I’ll get a three, hopefully.

@pointystar: Yep those are the EXACT same groups I did for the DBQ, but I think we’re good! And I felt the same way about the C&C… I don’t even know what I was talking about, it was complete trash and it was super short lol high five

@poisonivy20: I don’t mean to be the bad guy here, but I seriously doubt anyone is going to straight-up give you all the questions… It’s unfair to the rest of us and it’s also cheating :/. Plus I’m pretty sure College Board changes the questions for tests on later dates because they knew that this would happen… I’m sure you’ll do fine; don’t stress too much.

**I did some research on the definition of “interregional,” and this is what I found…

-INTRA-regional: within the same region.
-INTER-regional: between/amongst other regions.

So as long as you wrote about the connections between your region and other regions, I think you’re good

Big sigh of relief

That’s what I thought! It seems odd though, given the time period that it wouldn’t be international.

@afroninja the New curves are different though. The number of people getting 5s dropped.

@SgtGutter so it’s a lot harder now? Damn.

Sorry but I think some of you misunderstood my question–maybe because of how I phrased it. I’m not asking of the specifics of the test ( I KNOW that’s cheating)
All I’m really asking is how did you feel about the MCQ, were they longer? shorter? Did you have enough time? What topics do you think were really covered on the test. (Double checked: I’m allowed to ask this)
And for the FRQ, SORRY, I didn’t know about those rules.
I don’t want anyone on here to think I’m trying to cheat. I know all of you worked very hard this year, as have I, and I hope you all do well.

LOL, and now I’m jailed. Thanks CC! :-q

So the general 5 borderline is higher than 77 now? 60/70 and a total of 21 /27 on the essays should be a 5 right? Those are my estimates I think.

@PoisonIvy20 The MC had less passages than last year’s test. I don’t think there’s anything in particular that I’d recommend you study. Don’t stress about the Ottomans. Then again, maybe you should. You’ll have a different test.

EDIT: I’m not really sure why you think we can help. Our tests will have been different. For both tests, all of the course is fair play. Just because something is on one test doesn’t mean it can’t be on the other. I’d expect less than last year’s in terms of passages on your test. That’s all I can really give you

Thanks @batman9 , the first real answer! LOL
And yes I know I take a different test. I know MCQ will be different and I know FRQs will be completely different. That’s why I asked about “which topics I could eliminate” concerning the FRQs. But now I know I can’t ask you that until 48 hours are up. In the AP Policies, only the FRQs I will get can never be discussed.
Thanks again.

So does anyone know what the grading policy is when you misinterpret the prompt? I wrote about trade within a region, instead of “inter-regional” trade…does that really mean I get a big fat 0 for the essay? I think I did okay for the other two essays…probably combined score of 10 on the essay, and maybe 7-9 wrong for the MC. I’m assuming that’s a 4 overall for the exam, right? Is there any chance I can get a 5?

@cncm it really depends on what your continuities and changes were. The question was really asking how they blanked. I’m sure you can figure out what the blanked word is. I think that if you talked it about solely within the region you have the possibility to get the points. Though I may be wrong.

What is jailed?

For people taking the SAT World History test this June there is a thread started.
<a href=“**Official SAT World History Thread 2014** - SAT Subject Test Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>**Official SAT World History Thread 2014** - SAT Subject Test Preparation - College Confidential Forums;

Any one had a different form like me?

Hey guys, I’m thinking of taking World History next year, but would you say this year’s exam was around the same difficulty as the Baron’s practice exams or harder? Around the same as the Mcgraw Hill or harder?
