Did someone get 30 on reading? How many wrong is that?

@candy54321 I got a 31, rlly rlly disappointed I know I can do better, but it said I got 8 wrong so a 30 is like 9 or 10 wrong

Hey ppl I made a thread if ur gonna apply to northwestern next yr plz reply in that thread and thanx!

C: 36
E: 35
M: 35
R: 36
S: 36
I’m so happy right now but also really sorta worried now because I didn’t finish my essay ( T A T )
Put too much time into the beginning and had to stop in the middle of my rebuttal, didn’t even start conclusion…
I’m super super happy with this like wow yes ohmygosh but
If I get a bad essay score, then… what do… I do… (;´Д`)

@master1006 you’ll get into northwestern with like a 30-36… as long as the other parts of your applications are good

@studentY WOW excellent mate! You got a perfect score! And dont worry most colleges just use the composite, hardly do they look at the essay…

@master1006 thanks

@bigbossman1 I don’t know but I’ve heard some ppl say it because apparently all the athletes are taking it so it’ll be a bit easier…I wouldn’t care about it rumors spread and ppl say what they think. Just take it if u want to be on the safe side lol

Composite: 33

English: 34
Math: 31
Reading: 33
Science: 33

I’m actually pretty surprised and happy with my scores! As long as the writing score turns out decent, I won’t be taking the ACT again. I took it once. That’s enough for me.

I’m nervous for my writing. I just want an 8, give me my 8… :)

34 on English is how many wrong guys?

Did anyone have a 35 on reading? Thinking -1 is 34, but could be wrong.

@candy54321 I would say 34 on english is 2 mistakes tops 3 mistakes.

I got a 35 and im sure I only missed 1 plus it was easy so not that lenient grading curve, so probably 2 mistakes

@dune297 I think its a bit more lenient becuz I got 31 with 8 wrong…soo 35 is like 2 or 3 wrong ish

@peytonmg Same here! If I don’t get an 8, I’ll probably have to retake because anything worse is apparently considered bad. I’m more than happy with my 33 so that would just tick me off.

Hey for all ppl who got above 33 in math, was it becus of lots and lots of practice or little practice and most of it u already knew

@studenty @jere454 @browndino @jchen97 @ckoepp127 @AnAnonymousAsian @peytonmg

So all of you guys skip the reading part of the science and go straight to the questions?

Also, what are your guys reading strategies?

@master1006 I got a 34 with 17 on the Social Science/Sciences and 18 on the Arts/Literature. Not sure if this equates to one wrong.

I just remembered: on the testing center survey, I marked no to “Were you seated at least three feet away from the nearest person?” Do you think that could be the reason my results are undergoing “quality assurance steps”?

@dune297: Even the sub-scores are scaled. If you got a 34, that’s at least two wrong.

@emshadez: I skipped the reading part of the science on the three data analyses, skimmed the three research summaries, and actually read the entire conflicting viewpoints passage.

@DiscipulusBonus Is that based off this curve or what? I have certainly seen reading curves in the past where -1 is a 34.
