<p>My son just received his email around 11:00 p.m. so please don’t get discouraged.
He is SO excited and we’re ecstatic for him. He was admitted to the College of Engineering.</p>

<p>He has a pretty impressive resume and has been hounded by Ivy League schools (of course I’m mom so I may be a little bias…smile); but Michigan is his dream school and I’m just tickled he got in. He has worked SO hard and he’s such a great kid.</p>

<p>Lastly…it was pretty cool when he updated his Facebook with…Will UMICH me when I go to college? </p>

<p>I just want to emphasize that to the people who got in: congratulations. We all deserved it because of our diligence and perseverance. To the people who got deferred or rejected, keep your head up: Michigan is no doubt missing out on some great talent. And to the people still waiting for your decision: Don’t chew your fingernails too often. And when you do get that email, make sure that you remember that no matter what the outcome is, you all deserve the best. Good luck! :D</p>
