<p>Has a January 20 audition date for theatre department. Waiting to hear if will be allowed to audition for Musical Theatre.</p>
<p>She is bouncing off the walls. Michigan has been her first choice.</p>

I got in with a weighted gpa of about 4.10 (3.52ish unweighted) and a 1900 on sat (29 on act). So don’t panic when you see other excellent scores and think you are automatically out- you have a chance, just like me

I’m VP of my class and have lots of leadership EC’s in theatre, I’m Student Drama Director and Choreographer, etc.</p>
<p>Essays were great, my personal statement was about how my first gay kiss was the liberation of me and my sexuality, so perhaps being gay was a factor? </p>

<p>If you search the thread, there have been rejections and defers. This is a classic case of non-response bias (what up, AP stats!).</p>
