Had very high SATs, and went to a top notch high school

I got accepted! I’m from south Florida, and I got my email at 7:22 last night.

i doubt theyre doing all the acceptances first and the deferrals and rejections later. even though most have of the people ive heard from have been accepted, there were some on cc who were rejected and deferred. just hoping im not one of them.

I got into the school of Kinesiology at 5:43 PM yesterday
the email time stamp said 3:33 PM

They’re not going in any set order from what I can see. I think they’re just sending decisions in batches. No one knows how and why, we just gotta hope for the best.

Son was accepted last night at 9:59 pm to LSA. He Has a 3.9 GPA w/ 31 ACT -instate

@lindsy
I think we crashed cc last night, but I hope you got in!

Accepted!
34 ACT
OOS-Ohio
Email sent Friday night at 7:50 received at 9:50

does anyone know anybody who they thought would get in for sure but was deferred or denied?

I have not heard yet.

@lindsyoxo, I haven’t either. Are you LSA? In state or out?

Still nothing

Did anyone hear back today? All of my friends heard last night but not me yet. I thought I was definitely in but I am getting nervous now. I have a 33 ACT and good grades. Someone please help me out here. I’M FREAKING OUT.

I’m kinesiology in state

does being out of state hurt your chances, especially if your gpa kinda sucks?

Some of my friends heard today. Still nothing for me though.

U-M Admissions posted on facebook saying that they would be working overtime a bit today to send off decisions. I’m not really sure how long they’ll be working, but something is better than nothing. I know this is tough guys, but we can’t let the anticipation get to us. You guys have all worked hard, just hang on a bit longer, it’ll come through eventually.

@cun401722. As UMich is a public university, they’re first preference is obviously in-state students (about 66% of the incoming class). If your GPA aint good and you’re out of state, start praying right now. I do hope your test scores are out of this world, and that you gotta great list of Ec’s.

Anyone get rejected?

@luna27. I’m sure some have, they’re just not posting about it. :/

to be honest, i dont think anyone has been rejected yet…and it is coming from someone who hasn’t heard yet…not trying to be pesimistic, just saying
