I haven’t heard yet. Really ugly way for Michigan to do it in this order.

Stanford, I got in last night at about 11:30… FL decisions are leaking

quite heartless and cruel of them

agree firesoul, make you wait only to rip your hear out. I suppose there is no good way to deliver the news, it’s like being given the blindfold and stood up against the wall, just waiting for the inevitable.

Just got deffered; postmarked at 12:15 P.M. and received at 2:15 P.M. (Central Time)

Stats:
ACT: 30
SAT: 2070
3.92/4 GPA
Good EC’s, Awesome Rec’s, Solid Essays

Oh well, better than getting rejected. At least I get to enjoy my winter break now…sort of :/

pleaseadvise, are you still waiting as well?

If i knew umich was so heartless and cruel, i wouldnt even have tried. Do they not have any conscience…

yes, but not optimistic.

@Wbasters, same thing happened to me. That’s pretty much my only hope though.

So basically if you don’t find out today (aka defer day) your as good as rejected by Monday. *** kind of a system is this.

yeah i was deferred from LSA oos… i’m not too upset though it’s better than a rejection. i really want to go here though.

3.6 UW best private school in the state

aps 5 eng lit and 4 ush
sat2 720 eng 660 ush
yearbook editor in chief, mock trial president, hundreds of hours for habitat, service trip to south africa etc

do a substantial amount of deferred people get in?

thinking the pattern might be like a wave…acceptance, deferred, rejected for first batch, then again accepted, deferred, rejected for second batch…still sucks but maybe there is hope…

Does Michigan move more kids into the regular pool from ea than rejects?

haven’t heard yet…■■■

wow, some people w/really stellar stats getting deferred. really stinks, what do you have to do to get accepted this year?

Thanks AMERICAN U for the email scare!

guys…theres nothing we can do about it or help it… its destiny. just be patient and we will all be successful one day. Good luck to all (including me …)

This sucks, I’m seeing some really good people getting deferred. I’m feeling kinda dead about my decision now. Haven’t received it, but I think I know what it’ll say now.

Alexandre or anyone, what percent of deferreds typically get accepted? I’m sure it moves around year to year, but in a broad range what is the expectation?
