Official Cornell Class of 2019 Early Decision

@hotelieatheart i’m female

@cornell19 100% agree. I feel as though many aren’t exactly truthful, and definitely just want the ego boost.

@TodaysEinstein‌ love the positive thinking! I’ve honestly been trying to keep my expectations on decision day as low as possible. Not sure if that’s harming my mindset or not, but I just keep telling myself that if I don’t make the cut for Cornell, maybe I’ll make the cut for the other schools I have applied to… Although I’m very doubtful about Penn lol.

@Connor2019 For those people, I don’t think they have ever fell in love with any other schools either. They love every single school which has a decent rank. But, I prefer to be a person who has a dream school. Because compared to those people, I know where I want to go. I chose to love, and I am not afraid to be hurt by my love.

@santaman1‌ yeahhhh all these NJ people! Not feeling horribly alone anymore in this haha

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss you’ll land among the stars…” Remember that on decision day @tblegend97‌

3 days…

@cornell19 definitely trying to!

what is it like to be an international applicant coming to america to study? i cant imagine myself going to like, london or india to study for four years…and is the hotel program popular there for some reason?

@hotelieatheart‌ I’m an International application from South Korea currently studying at a boarding school in Oregon. The teaching styles of the two countries are very different (though I don’t particularly prefer one over the other) and of course, the food is so so different. I usually go out to Korean, Chinese, Japanese/ other restaurants to eat or cook my own food (because I don’t usually like the food they serve us in cafeteria). I love living in the dorms with friends from all over the world, and sharing my room with a roommate (I feel weirdly lonely when I’m alone in my dorm room, so I asked to have a roommate even though I’m a senior). I don’t feel that much homesickness (I guess it’s different for everyone) although I love my family. Sometimes, I wish I’m back in Korea with my middle school friends. Overall, I like studying in both Korea and the U.S.

@mistyjr‌ I’m actually mum of three kids and one of them is studying at UWCSEA in Singapore. My D finds it really great to cook in the dorms - sometimes she makes fajitas, and like chilli con carne - a whole lotta mexican fare!

Does anybody know exactly what time decisions will be announced? Will everything be announced at say, 00:00 December 11, or will the decisions be released in waves/randomly? Just wondering. (I’m GMT-10, so if letters come out midnight/early morning, it will still be the night before for me.)

I’m so anxious! Good luck to everyone!

@zachhiboy 5pm!

@hotelieatheart‌ I’m an Indian male. And (pardon the stereotype) just like most other Indian males, I’m applying to the College of Engineering.

wow… #2014 :)

Post 2015 dedicated to the graduating high school class of 2015.

It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one wanting to puke my guts out! :-S
Anyone applied for architecture from this lot?

Does a Cornell acceptance letter play music on its website? Just wondering

@TodaysEinstein‌ I heard they don’t

2019! hope we all get good results :)
