Early Decision Applicants
December 5, 2014
As Cornell University admission selection committees approach the end of early decision application review, we want to share information with you regarding Cornell’s online admission decision notification process.

Early decision applicants will be able to view their admissions decisions online on December 11, beginning at 5 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact all early decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing their decisions online. Please note that decisions will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you.

You do not need to do anything further at this time. We will post a new message on our website once we have sent the email instructions for viewing your decision online.

Spring transfer applicants: Please note that spring transfer admissions decisions are available online on a rolling basis and applicants will receive an email when decisions can be viewed.

Yay, officially confirmed! My sister who applied SCEA to Harvard said they’re also releasing decisions on the 11th, and my friend who applied ED to Duke just got an email confirming the 11th as well.

Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh. … I’m nervous

@hopefulrm Brown too, I’ve heard.

Just wanted an hour reading every post on last year’s results thread… :’(

Everyone whose visited, what was your FAVORITE thing about cornell? I loved downtown ithaca and the college town vibe

The food and scenery

Did Cornell say anything about how many seats they are offering and how many more/less people applied this year?

I can’t choose. I was there for 3 weeks at their summer college and it was all so great.

Does anyone know if the Cornell Acceptance Email play music like Yale’s ( I heard theirs plays the school song )?

@BearBear10312 My friend at Cornell said that its just a congratulations letter. No music…

Or rejection lol

It’s probably temporarily better that there’s no music, otherwise if you don’t hear it then you know right away :-SS

I was planning on closing my eyes after putting in my decision id and pw to hear my fate LOL. Time suddenly passing so slowly
