Official Cornell Class of 2019 Regular Decision Applicants!!!!!

So, I completely understand that Financial Aid and the office of admissions are independent of one another… However, today my mom received an email from the financial aid office that was written directly from someone who works there regarding some added information they wanted. Good sign?

@IvyClimber117 Sadly, I doubt it. I received an email from WUSTL’s FA office asking for more info and was waitlisted a few weeks later. I fairly certain that it’s completely unrelated.

I’m kind of late but, ILR (I love reading :))

Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS): 12
Art, Architecture, and Planning (AAP): 2
Arts and Sciences (CAS): 10
Engineering (CoE): 12
Hotel Administration (SHA): 2
Human Ecology (CHE): 1
Industrial Labor Relations (ILR): 6

Hi everyone!!! I just want to let all the Hotelies know that some acceptances are still coming in the mail!! I just got mine today and it was sent on March 13!!

@Langgirl2‌ do you live in NY or out-of-state?

Has anyone who applied to CAS heard from Admissions yet??

@annakarenina1‌ Some people have received likelies from CAS

Is Cornell for sure releasing decisions on the 31st or is there any chance it’s any earlier?

If I haven’t received a letter or email of acceptance yet, does that mean I didn’t get in. I applied to ILR and it seems like ilr has already sent out all their acceptances

I am curious about ILR as well if anyone knows anything.

I think they come out in waves. No need to worry @ThePolar @hutchmemphis

how do they let you know? is it via email or by mail?

I know some people already found out thanks to diversity hosting but what exactly is that?

@dhizzy - from what I understand (someone please correct me if I’m wrong), it is a special program for high achieving minorities. They host an event before March 31, so admitted students are notified early via likely letters

We were notified before March 31st obviously, but the event is in April.

but what about for people who are not an URM

I am not an URM, nor a female engineer, nor an athlete, so how come I still received a likely letter from engineering. Can someone please clarify, thanks.

@bazz2203 you look funny?

@KunjiBoy‌ No, I’m just a normal applicant like everyone else.

How dare Cornell give you a likely letter! What were the admissions officers thinking, right? You should march over to Ithaca right now and let them know the error of their ways :-w
