@iloverainbowsyo I wouldn’t count it. You might be perceived as aggressive.

Y’all ought to take a break from CC until decision day… the anxiety that you cause yourselves and others is concerning. I recognize this is a huge moment in life as much as anyone does, however, when you have someone go so far as to post that they might as well jump off a building (even if it was meant to be in jest), that’s when you should take a step back. @APushed96 please stop assuming things, no one on here can help/advise you now (or tell you anything you probably don’t know already!), so just try and take things as they come and I bet you everything will work out in the end. Best of luck to all…

Well said.

Someone had to say it… Thanks

@11scooter I agree with you 100%.

I am just sitting tight to see if Cornell deserves my dollars and my kid. :-)

@APushed96 think positive and the weather in San Diego is really good just in case.

@iloverainbowsyo

I am quite sure they don’t. My interviewers asked me to let them know whether I got in or not. They are not told by the school itself before we find out. Sometimes they are told afterwards so they can contact the student and convince him/her to attend (assuming he/she has been accepted).

@11scooter I couldn’t agree more.

APushed, it was probably just a standard response that admissions sends out to cut off the submissions at a certain point.

6 days! I’m somehow getting less anxious the closer we get…

@mistanervous haha, I know that feeling. There was a point where I would spent an abnormal amount of time on CC, working myself into a state of permanent anxiety. I couldn’t think of anything else than next week Thursday. Thank God that’s over.

Here’s the university’s countdown clock, in case anyone was having trouble calculating the time remaining until decision day.

Guys, lets just watch South Park. :-)

It is a great stress relieve.

Are decisions officially coming out on the 27th?

And will they be sent as an email?

Yes on the 27th at 5pm est. They will send an email with instructions for viewing your decision.

Awesome, thank you!

Where have y’all already been accepted?

@Cawledge96
Got into Vanderbilt (early-write) and UNC-CH (EA).
Was waitlisted at WashU.

@matrixsurgeon Wow, those are great schools. Congrats!! I’m from Georgia and everyone at my school loves Chapel Hill but only like 1 person ever gets in

@APushed96 I think you just contacted them after the “black out” period. My son sent an update on March 5, he won first place in a state wide competition, we sent it to admissions directly and to his interviewer. Admissions e mailed us back that his file would be updated and the info added and that " we made it just in time" So I do think they stop taking additional info at some pre determined point. I wouldn’t read too much into it. Good Luck to all of you!

I got rejected from a less selective school and now I feel so discouraged :/
