Official Course on Research and Info. Gathering

<p>Whether you are crunching out a research paper or just want to learn more about references and research, this course is for you. Maybe you have a weak English course…this could help you reinforce concepts.</p>

<p>It’s my free online course offered through the messageboards on research and things of that nature. I will assign things from time to time and you can submit them for me to grade. If necessary, I can email your guidance counselor if you give me the address and I will tell them your grade at the end of the course. If you need help, I will provide links and information from time to time. </p>

<p>We’re going to jump right in, but tomorrow we will review the assignments. This allows me to see where everyone is in terms of the course information.</p>

Prepare a paragraph that includes a paraphrase and direct quote. Create a Works Cited entry for the site.</p>

<p>Now why would you say that…I’m just trying to help teach people where schools may not do so well. A good email to your guidance counselor is sure to help you out. If you’re afraid of getting a bad grade, don’t be. I only report it if you are satisfied with it and want me to report it.</p>

<p>Just so you know, you can work at your own pace if you want. If you want to start class tomorrow, that’s fine. Once you start and turn in the first assignment, I will provide you with due dates for upcoming work.</p>

<p>IMO the best class you can take for research and info gathering is called Policy Debate.</p>

<p>And, uhh. Maybe I don’t need to say it, but this online class looks a little bit shady.</p>

<p>Homework? Lol…yo really think this is my attempt to try and get homework done. We don’t even have homework since finals are tomorrow. I’m trying to offer some valid help for people who may have some trouble with researching, MLA, etc. and you think I’m trying to take advantage? I have lesson plans and everything for this. Sigh…some people. If you would like me to prepare some sort of math course for you, I can do that as well. I don’t know what’s so hard to believe.</p>

<p>At any rate, I can’t imagine any high school that would allow a student to put a grade received from this type of unaccedited course on their transcript.</p>

<p>Yes, I do have a lot of free time now which is actually quite unusual, but it is true.</p>
