Congratulations to everyone who was accepted, I look forward to seeing you at Dartmouth next year, and to all those who were deferred or rejected, don’t worry, this is only the early round and there are plenty plenty of other colleges out there. This DEFINITELY is not the end of the world, trust me, I went through a rejection when I was applying to private schools back in the day, and I went home and sobbed for a good hour when I opened my thin letter. Now, three years later, I roll my eyes when I think about what a great high school experience I have had since then. You are all bright people and will get in somewhere that you may not like right away but will in time grow to love. Good luck to y’all in the coming months.
