@wallrus75 the racquetball

The racquetball. All you had to do was read the paragraph explanation of the first experiment. It said all the data was collected with a racquetball. Thus you should use the racquetball from experiment 2 as well

why isnt it the baseball?

The only ball used in the first experiment was the racquetball. In order to figure out whatever data it was asking for (I forgot), you had to match it up with the same type of ball in experiment 2

do you remember what the question was?

Which one was the racketball? D? It was the order in which they were listed on the table…

I don’t remember exactly what it was asking for (something to do with finding out what surface it was?), but that didn’t really matter. Any correlations that can be drawn between the experiments have to be done via the same object (so that the data is not skewed/erroneous). The only ball in experiment 1 was the racquetball. Thus this was the object that had to be looked at in experiment 2 with whatever it asked. But it only asked for the type of ball. So I’m pretty positive it’s racquetball

I think it was the first one? A? dunno for sure

was it the one with
racquetball
baseball
golfball
someother ball ??

I think the last one might have been steel ball or something. But yeah that was it

MAYBE it was alphabetical :P? I know why it is right, and that’s why I asked about it. During the test, I picked the one with the largest difference between the two Cs because the first one was only off by 0.02, which would be very inaccurate to test for.

well *** I know i got 2 wrong now.

Yeah this section was tricky. I feel u lads

would the science curve be lenient this year? since some questions required outside knowlege… -1 = 35 -2 = 34?

eh I don’t think it’s going to be lenient. Probably just ‘medium’, but that’s not really saying much. Science always has a harsh curve in a sense. It could be -1=34, -2=33, etc or -1=35, -2=34, etc. Not really a way to tell. Nonetheless, -2 is still really good

I don’t think it is going to be lenient. Probably regular if that. I think the test was straightforward and I don’t get why people say it needed outside knowledge. Maybe common sense, but outside knowledge?

Does anyone remember what passages there were? The one about dunes, titration, the balls, the volts one, the plants (i think) one with an invasive species. What else? In what order?

How harsh do you think the curve will be?

volts (5 questions) // invasive species // balls // plants // titration // homogenous and heterogeneous solutions’ polarity and molecular mass (7 questions) // dunes (5 questions)

I’m fairly sure on that order except the position of plants and titration. Also unsure about the number of questions in the questions unmarked.

That is not the order, this is what I know 100%

invasive species // ? // ? // ? // ? // Fighting scientists // Dunes

if I had to guess…

invasive species // volts // plants // titration // fighting scientists // dunes

does anyone remember how many C’S/H’S were there for the fighting scientists passage? Anyone?
