<p>Just got in university of Wisconsin anyone else?</p>
<p>I feel pretty confident we will hear this friday. Someone on this site seemed to have some inside information a few weeks back and told us that. But my son was just admitted to University of Findlay school of pharmacy! His very first choice is Michigan but if he gets admitted it is a huge decision. Guaranteed pharmacy versus going to prepharmacy and applying during sophomore year to pharmacy. Some schools admit as freshman for 6 years and most admit after 2 or more pre pharmacy years for a 4 year program. And Michigan pharmacy school is way more competetive than undergrad and they admit the great majority with a bachelor degree. Findlay pharmacy is not prestigious and much more expensive but 6 years at Findlay versus possibly 8 years elsewhere, having to study for PCAT with no guarantee of ever getting accepted into a program. I guess we will find out soon if he has to make a decision like this. Any comments about Findlay? It’s very small. His other option is Ferris state or University of Toledo pre pharm. <p>It just seems like I’ve waited five months to finally hear back but during that time, I had some sort of hope of being accepted. Now that the decisions are around the corner, I’m going to get a clear-cut answer which is kind of scary. </p>
<p>I’m really hoping that I don’t get wait-listed. I honestly can’t imagine getting a final decision until June.</p>

<p>Runnerjsnmom, wow, that is a tough decision. I don’t envy you that one. The very good news is that no matter what you hear from Michigan, your son has a great Plan B!</p>
<p>Soccerqueen, I totally understand how you’re feeling. When the Wolverine Access finally showed a link saying “View Decision” my heart lept out of my chest and I stared at it for a good long while paralyzed with fear.</p>

<p>It’s like watching your favorite team in the Super Bowl, you know before it kicks off that at the end of the night you won’t be able to sleep. You can only hope it’s for the right reason.</p>

<p>Tomorrow may be “the day” for continuation of decision letters being sent out but I don’t think everyone will found out just yet. I don’t know the schedule of the Admissions Staff but tomorrow is also Good Friday and many people get the day off.</p>
