Columbia tells me they haven’t recieved my CSS/PROFILE either!!! I think it’s just still being processed…let’s not freak out folks…
Thing is, the FA tracking system doesn’t tell me what they’ve recieved or not recieved, like the application stuff. Is it like that for everyone?

Hey guys I emailed Columbia yesterday about my SAT scores not appearing on the tracking page, and they emailed me back saying that they located my scores. I guess there were some glitches. Try emailing them via <a href=“mailto:ugrad-ask@columbia.edu”>ugrad-ask@columbia.edu</a> or <a href=“mailto:ugrad-online@columbia.edu”>ugrad-online@columbia.edu</a> if you have any of your infos missing.

Wow, I don’t have a student tax return either as I haven’t had any income in the past year. But the email address they told us to contact DOES NOT WORK!!! I keep getting a failure notice when I try and email it. So did you guys just reply to the address they originally sent us?

CSS profile is missing~and the email address doesn’t work~~the tracking system showing nothing at all…

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE FIN AID WEBSITE?!
it just shows the home page…i can’t click anything…not even the blue button that says 2010/2011.

how do i get to the place where i can see if i’ve submitted my materials?

I’m facing the exact same situation with the Online Fin Aid Tracking System.
However, I really didn’t think it was a matter of concern because I received an e-mail from the Dean of Financial Aid confirming the documents which Columbia received and did not receive. I’m sure everyone else got the same? =|

Well, that settles things. The Fin Aid tracking page doesn’t show anything but the homepage…probably for everyone! How convenient.

@ roaritsrobbie: Ahhh, I wish we actually COULD write a letter collectively saying why we should all be accepted! An endearing idea, but I don’t think anyone in the admissions office would care. :(

When do we hear back for ED to columbia?
Im so nervous and the waiting process is the WORST…do we get an e-mail sent to us or do we need to log on and check the website?

GAH! This waiting is killing me. I got the email from the Dean of Fin. Aid as well detailing what I had and hadn’t submitted. Apparently, they need our tax returns from last year as well as the CSS profile and all that good stuff… I just forwarded the email to my Dad because all of this is like greek to me.

In any case, does anyone know what the actual decision date is? I know the Ivies are supposed to have a common notification date of Dec. 15 but I’ve read elsewhere that Columbia notifies EDers a bit earlier. Thoughts?

ugh!
It says my parents previous tax returns are incomplete. And it says I did not submit mine, when I don’t even have one.
And of course, the email doesn’t work.

I can now officially view the status of all my Financial Aid documents on the Online Tracking System. A new tab called “Documents” popped up in my home page.

if you don’t have a tax return, you need to fill out an extra form that says you paid $0.00 in taxes. the form is somewhere on columbia’s financial aid website
