it’s probably not activated yet

i know this is premature but for those procrastinators out there (i haven’t started my english paper yet…)

[Prefrosh - WikiCU, the Columbia University wiki encyclopedia](Prefrosh - WikiCU, the Columbia University wiki encyclopedia)

I can’t bring myself to read that - it’ll only make the pain of a rejection worse haha

ah. i cant read that wiki page… hold till friday:) or never:(

Penn is my second choice too! Fingers crossed for Columbia.
You are who you are. Don’t let a decision change anything.

Going to bed now…can’t wait till tomorrow…

I personally do not want to find out yet. I do not want to go emo and eff my other apps up.

I’m excited. I’m trying to convince myself that’s it’s not a big deal if I get rejected (which probably will happen, but knock on wood). But I can’t deny that getting in would be awesome, since I don’t have outstanding stats for an Ivy League applicant and Columbia is probably a reach for me.

I hope the best for everyone!

Night of the First Day: 60 Hours Remain.

Legend of Zelda anyone? I thought it applicable. XD

last week, I would’ve read that wiki link as if it contained secrets of the universe. Now, I don’t even have the stomach to read it. It’s like a long lasting couple on the verge of a breakup: how can you invest anything more if there’s a chance you could get completely crushed. COLUMBIA!!! what have you done to me.

I had no idea why seniors last year were stressing. You guys remember saying, “It’s only college” or something stupid like that
How is junior year the hardest year

skibum91 I agree. Junior year was a lot of school work/standardized tests and whatnot, but this year the fact that next fall I will be in a totally different place both scares and excites me way more than any exam or SAT test.

Ok, i take that back Obstinate. You can totally change it to regular decision. But of course you already know. Just thought I would prove I’m not ignorant anymore.

"If you would like to change your application to Regular Decision consideration, or if you do not intend to complete your application and would like to withdraw from consideration entirely, please inform us of your decision by e-mailing ugrad-confirm@columbia.edu. Be sure that your full name and Applicant ID (C003545467) appear in the response. "

:):):)

damn time zones. i get to find out the next day at 2.30am.

I know! Me 6am on Friday.

lmao. ZELDA FTW.

gah, so who’s going to be the one to start the “results” thread…

it’s going to be even more upsetting if i don’t get in because i’ll never meet you wonderful people! this thread has really been a support group for…whenever i was feeling crazy obsessive, i knew there was someone feeling even more crazy. whatever happens guys, this has been a great thread. :)

I think the result thread is going to be the count down thread. OR just this thread…unless someone really starts a “ED RESULTS” thread…I know, useless post.

2 days 8 hours 55 minutes left…
