Ahhhh, I don’t like waiting, esp. when the CALS said mid-April to early June…

anyone applied CALS bio&society got their acceptance?
i can’t log into housing and i didn’t get any e-mail or snail mail…
This is bad :’(
I wanna call them but i’m kinda scared lol

@miam4rmjax, actually the fact that they are taking their time with you might mean that they are really really interested and them taking their time to evaluate your application is definitely better than a straight out rejection. I don’t want to get your hopes up for nothing, however, I think it might actually really be a good thing. For one, you know for sure they haven’t rejected you yet or otherwise they would of just told you. Second, I have been reading past threads and CHE sometimes takes so long because they evaluate all of your credits to make sure you would have junior standing and be able to graduate in 2 years if they are interested in you. I wish you the best! :)

@username098, still nothing here for bio&society either. Haha im too scared to call too! Don’t lose all hope yet though, CALS has given acceptances in the past deep into May. Hoping that means we’ll just get our acceptances then!
. For one, I am actually a lot calmer now, I don’t mind waiting as long as they are working on the wonderful acceptance letter they’ll send my way…lol at least this is what I tell myself.

@dreaming, u did a lot of work here on the forum
just wants to say thank u and best luck to u!

@19910217, thank you! wish you the best of luck too :), im glad to compile all the info, i’ll update it sometime this week. I’ve been really busy lately, which has actually been a great thing because it keeps me distracted from obsessing and over-thinking what my Cornell outcome will be.

@Dreaming42012 Omg thank you so much! You seriously just eased my mind immensely. 1991 is right, you have done so much for this forum. Thank you so much! I truly wish you the best and I really hope you end up at Cornell. You seem like such a nice person and you deserve it!

I just called SHA and the lady said that decisions for hotel school will be on a rolling basis until the end of june.

Strictly VIA snail mail only.

Been on hold for five minutes ahhhhh!!

Ah, definitely couldn’t do the phone thing…good luck!!

Has anyone in CAS received a letter? If they were sent Monday, then I’d think today would be the first day!

Denied
but the lady I spoke with was very nice! Good luck to everyone still waiting!

@anthro, I’m sorry but good for you for calling!

@anothershot, are you for sure not gonna call? I keep complaining about not knowing what I’m doing next year, even though i could just take the next step and find out from 1 school at least

@anthro this is probably a stupid question considering your username, but what was your intended major?

Hello guys, i cant wait to heard back from CALS. I just called CALS then a lady said the letters of admission will be release b/w now till june. :(

@HomeBound my current major is anthropology but I intend to get my bachelor’s in art history and French :)

@anthro I’m sorry to hear that! But I’m sure you’ll do great no matter were you end up. CAS is notoriously the most difficult school to get into.

@anthro I’m sorry!

@Chris, haha I keep complaining too, but I hate talking on the phone especially for something like this, if I don’t hear by Friday, then maybeeee I’ll call

Congratulations to everyone on this board who just found out that they can now bank up to $200,000.00!

Lol. (That’s one way to look at it!)

Did anyone call CALS. When are they going to release acceptance.

Wow we might have to wait until JUNE for CALS letters? I guess I can at least focus on my finals now that I know it might take a month…
