Congratulations jakchun!! What major did you apply to? And where are You right now, Jw?

@username, I am a junior transfer which worries me because in the past it seems as though they prefered to have sophomores, at least those were the ones usually getting acceptances. However, CALS is usually one of the colleges with the most acceptances so hopefully they are just late this year. All isn’t lost till we actually have a rejection letter in our hands so lets just hope for the best :)

Chris1992// Thank you Chris!! I applied as Asian Studies, and I am currently enrolled in one of the top 10 LACs. And I am a sophomore applicant (currently freshman
)

Congratulations!

If the letters were, in fact, sent out on monday, I, too, would have thought that someone would have received mail by now. Although the longer I don’t get the rejection letter, the longer I can hold onto hope :p

I guess I can hold on to hope for a little longer. I called CAS because I got tired of waiting and they told me they haven’t reached a decision and to call back next week. Good sign or bad sign?

@Chris, I say good sign. Anything right now is better than a rejection especially over the phone. Good luck next week!

I called ILR. Just told me that my decision was sent out earlier this week. I still cannot log into housing, so I’m gonna go out on a limb and say rejection.

Really upset, tbh.

I’ve been following this thread nervously for quite some time but never joined in on the conversation, but just wanted to let all those CALS applicants out there know that there is hope! I was just notified via phone that I was ACCEPTED into AEM!!!

Like many of you I’ve been calling and emailing them for quite some time now because I had another school that was waiting on my decision, and because of my time constraints CALS called me to tell me in person that I was accepted!

Can’t even begin to describe the pressure that was just lifted off of my chest.

This CALS AEM wait is killing me…

cong!Sorelieved. Im also an AEM applicant, called for time but was told to be patient.

I was told to be patient probably close to 6 times, but I guess persistance pays off! Don’t hesitate to keep calling

@chris id say no news is good news for the time being! I am too nervous to call!

@sorelieved congratulations!

Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using CC

@SoRelieved You sound just like me. Constant calling and e-mailing due to impatience and a time constraint (other school’s deadlines). I hope my outcome is the same as yours. Congrats!!

Are you guys/gals calling the application processing center to check on your application status? Or the individual schools respectively?

Seeing as I have a deposit due on May 1st, I want to see if they’ve even looked at my application before I potentially give away $700.

@Chris- I’m in the same boat as you. CAS, called two days ago and again today and both times they said that they hadn’t made a decision yet.

@transferneow, I know we can’t know the answer but based on your personal feeling- do you think they’ve looked at our apps? Are we so borderline? Or they just haven’t looked at it?

@JKoby123 there’s no logical reason to assume you were rejected. just look at last year. stay positive!

congrats @sorelieved !
when was your application sent to be reviewed? r u transferring as a sophomore or junior?
care to share your stats?
thanksss

I applied to ILR and i’m sick of waiting

serious mental breakdown…

agreed! i feel bad for us that we have to be put through this while we were expecting news like 2 weeks ago? how much longer - _ -.
