okay please does anyone know if emails for acceptances have attachments? cause if when i get the email i don’t see that little paperclip picture, i’m instantly going to break down lol

collegeluva i think we’re the exact same people tbh. it’s literally scary how all of your posts reflect my exact thoughts lmao

I check this sub-forum all-too often; it has become quite the vehicle for procrastination…I did take a three week break from 11/3-11/24, and let me say, those three weeks absolutely flew by and were so productive. I keep trying to leave until the decision day (I mean, nothing posted on here will impact any of our chances…), but I just can’t. I guess I just find solace in knowing that people from all around the world are feeling the same emotions that I am feeling.

ehh i called the harvard admissions office and they said they’d already evaluated my application (so i think i know what answer I’M getting in 2 weeks…)

not too banged up about it since i’ll probably get into one of the UCs, but i’m wondering if i should warn my friends who had this counselor -___- hopefully she didn’t check off the same box for them. what is even the point of the “school policy prevents me from responding” it’s basically like saying “this kid did something bad but i don’t wanna talk about it”, right?

@NeutralityACTo36 - the guy i spoke to didn’t seem to imply anything either way, but from previous comments it doesn’t look like what my counselor did would be looked too favorably upon :/

@Godot17 (love how perfectly that encapsulates this whole process btw) - don’t know how harvard does things but i’m assuming someone took a full look at my app already? at least from what my interviewer implied

Sorry to intrude on your thread, but I have a quick question about the Harvard application. On the common app, Harvard requires you to answer the prompt, “Elaborate on one of your extracurriculars.” There is no length indicated, so would it be acceptable to answer with an 850 word essay?

I got re-elected to a leadership position, should I call and tell? Obviously the ulterior motive would be to see if they have reviewed me yet.

^My Guidance counselor called 2 weeks ago and they told them I was a very strong applicant, don’t know if this is legit, or off the cuff BS on the part of the phone lady.
