<p>@oxoxhawja3xoxo lol, I checked out the Yale thread. The problem with his argument is that he is assuming there are no unique advantages in attending Harvard. I understand where that guy is coming from, but he seems to be a little ahead of the game. He hasn’t been accepted to Yale yet, so he doesn’t need to bash on us yet ;)</p>

<p>Click on your username while logged in, then next to your default picture will be a orange button called “Edit Profile.”</p>
<p>Then click on the option on the sidebar called “Change my Picture” and then upload your picture file. Hope this helps :)</p>

<p>Guys speaking of HY rivalry have you seen the game day signs?!? They are pretty great. My personal favorite was “you can’t spell safety school w/o Yale” hahaha. Truth be told I would still die to go to either xD </p>
<p>I was also looking at the Yale thread, and I was really confused as to why they thought that us talking on this thread was a bad. If anything, I think it’s pretty cool that Harvard applicants are so talkative and supportive of each other. But apparently our activeness on here is a problem </p>

We’re trying to bring together an international anthology of poems on the theme of torture in order to spread awareness (you can write anything really, as long as it is related to the theme - and you’re free to choose the form of the poem too ! No word limit :p) . Please PM me if you’re interested in submitting a poem and I’ll give you the links ! </p>

People on the Yale thread were saying how our thread shows that Yale and Stanford students/applicants are more “chill” because their thread is less active, but I think it just shows what a supportive and welcoming community the Harvard applicant community is! I don’t know why people thing this is a bad thing, but I guess that they think we’re intent on getting tons of posts for the sake of one-upping other Ivies’ EA/ED threads, which isn’t true at all. We just like talking and get along, well definitely isn’t a negative. /rant</p>
