<p>Yeah i would assume the decisions come out 12th too based on the email change on the midnight of the 11th. </p>

<p>Although Harvard’s portal says that it will be open for SCEA applicants until December 11th, that does not necessarily mean that notifications go out the next day (December 12th). In years past, both for SCEA and RD cycles, I believe there was a lag of 2-3 days between when the site closed and notifications were sent out.</p>
<p>I really really hope we don’t have to wait till Monday. It was released on friday last year so hopefully it’ll be like that this year too. </p>
<p>Keep attention to Harvard Undergraduate Admissions’s Facebook and Twitter pages. It will probably warn us a couple days in advance of the release.</p>

<p>@howtocollege: Decisions will be sent by email! And I believe that the general consensus on this thread is that decisions will be sent around 3 PM EST based on last year.</p>

<p>@howtocollege Are you also on the east coast? I saw around 11 AM on CC also, but the times got messed up. I’m East Coast, so i assumed it was like that for other people around here. It actually is around 3:00 - some people in their posts from last year even mentioned it being that time (despite the CC post time being 11 am!) Confusing haha</p>
<p>@Melissawilliams Eastern time zone, but not East Coast. Now I’m kind of nervous because I will be on a school retreat on December 12 at 3PM. Don’t know if I’ll want to check then or if I’ll be busy or what. </p>

So even the times are weird on CC, decisions did come out at 3 PM EST last year 
I’ll be just getting out of school then, so I feel like I’ll be a nervous wreck while driving home! </p>

This is just a theory, but since the Harvard admissions website was recently redesigned I think this is the old applicant login. From what I am reading it seems to do the same thing as the other applicant login we have all been using. </p>
<p>Of course this is just a hunch, if someone is more knowledgeable, please enlighten us.

<p>Edit: The reason for this hunch is because some of the links on the left side are broken and the copyright on the bottom is 2010. So I think the Dec. 11th on that website is just from an old year.</p>
