Official June 2nd SATI Thread

I think that the “after [year]…” one was not a no error because it should have been past tense instead of present perfect. If it was “since” instead of “after,” present perfect would have been right.

Confirm/Debate?

godot has weird answers but he gets 2400 usually!!!
T______________________T

What exactly was the essay question again? I think I may have screwed up but I need to re-read the question. Please someone help!

I think I’m going to go drown out my pain with food lawlz.
It was a good 2.25 hours spent on this forum, I’ll bbl.

i put b because it’s past tense

i wans’t so sure about the after 1965 one. I put that the verb was wrong and should be in past tense. but then again “After 1965” suggest it is still going on today, and therefore could be the present perfect, i.e. no error. I think i was “deterred/thwarted” by the insurmounting amount of no errors, that i chickened out of this one

me too.
i’ll check back tomorrow anyways i got 1 math question wrong!!!
DAMN THAT CHOPPED OFF CUBE I COUNTED THE SIDES

i had an exp. writing section, and i’m trying to figure out which one was the exp., so if anyone had a non-writing exp. please tell me what questions were on your writing section (35 q’s)

Damn 0 being an integer! 1 missed in math for the third consecutive time

you’llsee…

Squid

“self-conscience inconsistency”

Chinese girl

she was “contacting people of her mother’s past” with the list
map was to find mother’s essense

discovered why her mother was so unforthcoming
gave her mother pain when she tried to remember

The Others

Feel free to copy and paste this and add more! Or make corrections but i think most of these are right

The After 1965 one was definitely NOT “no error.”

And cory: “discovered why her mother was so unforthcoming” - I think that one is wrong. I’m pretty sure it’s that she discovered her mother’s benevolent intentions or something along those lines, because the passage goes on to reveal that the author thinks that the mother was trying to protect her.

Experimental sections???What does that mean??

was one of the math answers r square 3?

how so? I put that the verb was wrong. But isn’t it in the right tense since its “after” never suggested it stops, so its still ongoing and thats the present perfect tense

yes root(3) r

Does anyone remember exactly what the essay question was?

was it definately disdain? that seemed too harsh- i was thinking it could have been defiant because the passage then goes on to explain how instead of living life as he was watching TV, he instead rides his motorcylce and lives life to the fullest

also, it might have been experimental but im not sure- some fill in like “the popultion grew, and the environment couldn’t handle the proliferation/vacillation” any help?

whether its better to go for self pleasure or the happiness of others

pretty sure its disdain. There have been other answers, but i really think that’s the best answer. We’ll find out soon though

in march i got 17 c.r. wrong and i got a 600… it looks like i did that bad on critical reading this time around as well
