Official June 2nd SATI Thread

u know the question where it say its a rectangle where L=2W
and 8 square is inside the rectangle, what is the measurement of the side
in respect to the Length of Rectangle?
was it 1/8L??

no it was 1/4L

Yea, i also got 1/4n

What was the answer to the Venn diagram question? Or was that part of the experimental?

^I do not remember any Venn diagram question.

For the venn diagram question, I added the three numbers that were each in two circles. I think this was an experimental question though.

Venn diagram?

did anyone else in the fixing sentence part, put an answer choice that had A COLON ???

^ yes severed, i did.
I thought that the SAT didn’t test colons, so I was a bit thrown off by that question. I couldn’t choose between the answer with the colon and E) and so (something like that), but I eventually picked the answer with a colon.
=]

oh and also, on the last writing section, there was a sentence with this choice:
“Because they didn’t know they each needed a passport…”
Did any of you choose that?
or was it “One must have had”

I picked the answer with the colon as well.

Omg Thank You, The Day Is Saved

I also chose “Because they didn’t know that they each needed…,” the colon one, and “Because it was easily accessible…”

The last answer refers to Metz, or some German-sounding city, which the “board of directors” chose for an event. I think the “it” is necessary because the phrase would otherwise be a dangling modifier. That is, the “easily accessible” would relate to the board of directors, not the city!

One of the critical reading questions for the Chinese mother one was “What was the purpose of the map in the passage?” Was it that it was a list of people her mom cared about in the past or was it that it was a guide to her mom’s essence?

The wr one with they couldn’t blah blah because the forest to city distance was “so great”. Was that no error ?

I went with “guide to her mom’s essence.”

guide to mother’s essence libra bc the daughter was able to understand why her mother would not talk about China

Libra, i also went with the guide to her mom’s essence.

June 21, 2007 is waaaaay to long to wait for our scores.

severed, I put so great as no error bc I remembered reading a book that described a feat as so great and wondering if that was a n error. Being the nerd that I am I look ed it up and the phrase is awkward but grammatically correct.

I know Sheed I hav been second guessing my answers all of yesterday and today. I wan t my scores now. I am pretty sure CB can give us our scores in a shorter amnt of time (like a week)
