reading this forum makes me depressed about my score, is everyone here a genius, or did you guys just study really hard. btw is the blue book enough to get a very high score?
@DickTracy keep in mind that a lot of kids are reporting superscores so of course they look good.
Was the May test your first one? Definitely retake. You will likely improve your score just by being used to the test. And yes, the blue book is a great tool.
What exactly do we see on the “detailed report” released Tuesday? Is it like the PSAT’s report? First time taking the SAT

@Jackson9854 @DickTracy Yeah, it’s like the PSAT report. It just shows you how many of what kinds of questions you got wrong, and you can read your essay on it too.

The score report is worth downloading and looking over if you wish to gain insight into how you got the score you did and what you need to study for the next time. It’ll let you know for each section how many you got incorrect, what types of questions missed, etc. I wish ACT would provide this info. for free.
I also took it for first time and got 2310 (Math I care more 800 I also have math subject 2 800)
The problem is the essay. I got 7 (with Multiple Choice 80/80 i got 760). CR 750 What do you think is the essay reason to retake?

To actually answer your question,
Do not retake the SAT. Your score is more than enough for any college in the US and a 2370 is by no means going to get you rejected. Instead, focus on school, the SAT subject tests and the amazing ECs that you have until now.
Best of luck to you too for Yale. I’ll be applying to Yale early.
In all honesty, a 2370 is at the level where the next test may be higher OR lower. If you wish to superscore at 2400 by all means retake it. But if I were you I’d enjoy my summer and service project in Tanzania.
