Well yes, because you’re dealing with more students taking it than the other dates, & more “average” people too. (Because an “average” person wouldn’t want to take exams around SAT time.)
Take a look at the test dates to see what I mean:
October/November-Too early in the year, you don’t get enough English prep so early.
December/January-If you have block scheduling (As I do), you have a few exams at this time, & you don’t want exams the day before the SAT!
April-Depends, some people are prepping for AP exams & don’t want to worry about SATs yet, but I’d say alot of people take it at this time too.
May-Yep
June-Some people have exams at this time, some are already out of school & want the rest of their summer, & some just get “lazy” towards the end of their school year.

Now, this is just my opinion on why turn outs are different, I’m sure you could find an actual study somewhere, haha.

April is tricky because there were two different curves for the two different tests. One test had a significantly more lenient curve because it was a harder test.

Yes, definately. That and one of the math sections. I had no idea what the devil they were talking about in the cheetah section. I didn’t have time to finish it and so left like 4 blank. Damn you cheetahs!

Guys I had only 2 writing sections and i am 99.9999% I had no question talking about Nitrogen. I am being serious. Can CB do this? (make different questions up for different tests and still not making the section experimental). Also on the a and b one it did not even specify they had to be integers. Therefore it is only 2. (I.E. because it didn’t specify integer plug in 1/2 and 110. or 0 and 11010. there you go).

That’s what I did, I remember that I didn’t use zero, but when I thought about using a fraction I remembered to carefully look for a stipulation that states that a and b are integers.

Yea I read that question like 5 times (I always have 15 mins at the end of a math section) and did it like 6 times. And to you people who think III is still true… why would they make the last question of the section that easy… think about it.

They’re probably reading this, taking pleasure from our torture, as we agonize over which section was the experimental one and which one wasn’t. That’s probably how they determine which one was experimental, is by reading forums such as these.
