I don’t think I got protean for an answer, which one was that? I know I got precocious though…

Yeah, sentence completions were a lot harder than in April. In April I think I got each one, but here I don’t know.

I don’t think I got protean for an answer, which one was that? I know I got precocious though…

Yeah, sentence completions were a lot harder than in April. In April I think I got each one, but here I don’t know.

Protean was paired with the word “bedazzled”

It was for the SC about the actress that amazed everyone with her convincing performance.

I don’t remember that one at all. Did you get an experimental?

However, I think I might remember bedazzled. I’m at a loss for that as I can’t remember well.

does anyone remember using the word census for one of the correct vocab words??

yes… i remember using census because the sentence was something like the ppl wanted to get a list of all the people in the town or something.

Yeah, I used “census” for the one about the government wishing to enumerate the population

Did anyone get “sweeping” and “autonomy” for the question where it went something like “Her political was due to her view of the nation”? I think I got that wrong but uh XD;

wat does “pf” stand for?
and when was “spread” an answer?

wat did people put the “bearing” one in the cheetah passage?
the sentence was: “give cheetahs panting space and hope noble bearings will be good.” something like that.

I think I remember autonomy.

I’m not sure about protean and bedazzled. I think I might remember bedazzled, so maybe I crossed off 4 choices I knew definitely wouldn’t work and just put down that choice. Anyone know other choices for that one?

hey waffle, do u remember the other choices with the confusion problem?
EDIT:the problem u were talking about, the one about painter.

bearing = demeanor or presence <- that’s what I put…

I don’t remember protean…bedazzled nor spread?

smartboy
wasnt the one with bearings something like demeanor or something?
what did u put

what did u guys get for one of short passages…the question where it asks you why they ask u about the thing in the parenthesis…the question about tea or something (girl and some guy moving in and out) i forgot…know what im talking bout?

I don’t really remember much else from the confusion question except for another choice that I was debating on that talked about arcane language.

Ah, this is wasting my time but it’s so hard to resist seeing what you got right and wrong!

I should be reading Grapes of Wrath, but it’s soooo boring.

waffle…sparknotes for that lol

was one of the answer on the cheetah passage:

something about zoologists being wrong about something

the scientists blaming the zoologists

I know (I always read both the story and sparknotes) except for the fact that we are being enticed to read by not having to do a major assignment if we do well enough on tests for it, which always encompass more than sparknotes.

1231…zoologists capture some cheetahs and said something like …that they dont really kno what would happen if the cheetahs were put in the regular environment…something like that lol…im so confused…

anyone remember the two passages about science and the logic of it or something…u had to compare the 2 short passages and one was from the point of view of a guy on a train or something…

:) Does anyone want to compile all the answers because many of the same questions are being asked again and again I’m not volunteering…(I have aps…)

compiling sucks. just go use the search too -____- or read through the entire thread. shouldn’t take THAT long.

and yes earth-dragon and whoever asked, i put presence on the bearing one. tho i would like to know why that was the answer if anyone has an explantion?

for the columbus one that said “met up with” red peper in the paragraph improvement was the answer “observed” or “encountered”
