Hmm… I’m an American student and I received my acceptance on March 9th and major entrance scholarship for $5000 on March 10th, so I guess the March 18th thing is a rumor.

According to the McGill website, US decisions should be received by March 26th:
[Admission and entrance scholarship decision release dates](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/decision/)
Scroll halfway down.

Well I was accepted into Materials Engineering in February but I am still waiting on Mechanical Engineering. I heard a bunch of other Americans saying that they were accepted on the 18th of March on this forum a few years ago. But I don’t know if that was just coincidence or what. But, as tomofboston said, US decisions should be received by March 26th.

I got waitlisted for Commerce :frowning:
What are my chances???

Hey, I’m from Pakistan and I got in two days ago for the general BA program! Pretty cool. :D

OMG OMG OMG, they recieved my mid-year/ predicted grades today a couple of hours ago and just heard back now. Admitted to the falculty of science, pending final results. I am so happy right now i don’t know what to do with myself, gosh its been a long process but finally!

but ARGH I wanted to get into science T____T
and I hadn’t known taht medicine was an actual undergrad faculty, else I would’ve applied…

dammit, this poses a major dilemma…

First professional degrees are considered “undergraduate” in Canada but Medicine still requires a bachelor’s degree for admission.

Yeah, applying to med school is different in Quebec (and Canada), and tightly controlled (with limited number of places, complete with interviews and all that), but you can’t apply from a US high school.
