NU doesn’t send you an email to make a portal. You will make a portal when you receive your decision email.
Are you sure? Does anyone who applied RD got port?
Northwestern doesn’t give you a portal - not even in the last several years - you will get an email confirming if they got your application or an email stating that you’re missing something. On decision day they will send you an email with a link to your decision letter.
Yup! My friend who was accepted ED had to create a portal on the day he got the decision. But NU will send us an email saying they have received your application
Just to clarify, as a sophomore, unless they changed the way they do it, they will send you an email that has a link to your letter, no portal involved.

Usually it arrives in the third week of March.
I just got my official application receipt confirmation, it says they’ll notify me when my application is complete but I’m pretty sure it is. I’ll call them to see what they have on file

@Hawkace is correct, it will almost definitely be March 19th or 20th. Traditionally, at least from what I’ve seen, the decisions come out Thursday or Friday of our fall finals week for ED and our winter finals week for RD. Our finals end on the 20th, hence either the 19th or 20th.
i’m so anxious for decisions to come out. is anyone else planning to major in environmental science?

I’m getting so antsy about this decision! So is it official that we should be getting word of admissions by March 20th?? Ughh I’m so nervous! I’m beginning to really regret not apply ED.
