Guys, my frienda have been telling me i made a wrong decision EDing here instead of the Ivys. How would you compare the Econ program here with like UPenn and Brown etc.

@CmBsTAg come on dude. Fuck your friends, you’re not going to college for them, and Northwestern isn’t far behind if not equivalent to some of the Ivies. Plus you won’t have to look for for internships, jobs, opportunities etc in Chicago
Here are a few things about Northwestern and Ivys.
In USNWR rankings, Northwestern is tied with one Ivy (Dartmouth) and ranked higher than Cornell and Brown.
In Engineering Undergrad rankings, Northwestern is above all Ivys except for Cornell and Princeton
It seems that MBB recruiting at Northwestern is better than all Ivys except Harvard, Yale, and U Penn. It is distincly better than Cornell, for example.

Hi guy, new to the thread but I applied ED and I live in Syracuse, NY. SAT score 2050, GPA 3.4. Typing all of this makes me feel like I’m on a dating site and it’s kind of weird. Anyway, my numbers are either low or at the bottom of the range but I’m hoping that I can get in and join all of you. Anyways, there’s always Star Wars right after decision.
What are dates that NU has notified ED applicants in previous years? like before the 15th I mean

@jason922 My DD just got accepted to her ED school and her scores and GPA were lower than MANY of those who got rejected/deferred when looking at previous threads. You’ll do just fine.
How good is a 33 on the ACT for Northwestern?
What are some of the lowest SAT or ACT scores that you’ve heard have gotten in?
Well, off the top of my head, I think @CaliCash had modest scores, but that doesn’t mean anything since the applicant was very driven and ECs were in sync with intended major - none of which I have in spades to say the least.
