Just learned that one of my teachers never submitted her letter of recommendation for me… F M L
would it be too pitiful to email NU now?? PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW… I have 1 recc in already but I mean people probably submit like 4…
They DO notify you via email, but don’t give the decision through it. They give you a username and password which you use in an application portal - they’ll give the link
@jinny11419 Is the rec atleast submitted now in the common app? If it is, NU will get it.
@McKilla99 Yes… our school uses Naviance so I guess it was submitted today… Oh my goodness I am literally going to have a heart attack… my application has probably already been read and judged… should I email them to let them know?
@jinny11419 I would honestly just let it go. If it’s already submitted they would get it, but decisions have probably already been made and I don’t think a rec letter would be a huge deciding factor unless it was really great. You have one in so you should be good. I also only submitted one

If it becomes the reason why I do not get accepted I don’t know if I’ll be able to forgive the teacher…

I don’t know… I personally would find 3000 frantic students emailing/calling/freaking out 24/7 from all around the world quite intimidating, actually. XD

I CALLED THEM… they said there’s no chance that decisions will be sent out today. I asked for a specific date and they said mid-december, no date has been decided yet

@brbfreakingout no, they said mid-december with no set date which worries me that it could even be later than tuesday, but I guess we’ll see
@acx820 that’s odd because when I called they constantly referred me back to the December 15th deadline and set that as a concrete date rather than being ambiguous with Mid-December
