@cp2016 you’re in
Sorry why are we “chancing” one another when the decisions have most likely already been made and will come out very soon?
Excellent question. ![]()
Can someone make a class of 2020 ED results forum??? Idk how 2 do it oops
JK figured out how to do — once the results start trickling in everyone should post them here : http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/northwestern-university/1840071-official-northwestern-ed-class-of-2020-results.html?new=1
guys northwestern’s industrial engineering vs econ vs applied math, which gives the best prep for a career in finance?? i chose econ but i feel like that was a wrong choice…
I would say mathematical methods in the social sciences actually… but you can always switch major once you get in
@topclever it doesn’t really matter what your major is so long as you are in a top school. Also, at this level your grades, where you intern and how well you interview is much more important than what you major in!
how am I going to survive until Monday the suspense is killing me
If two people from the same school applied to NU Weinberg but to different majors, does NU compare those two and choose “the better one”?
@letmein321 actually Tuesday
anyone else just like reading rejection letters to prepare themselves? no? oh ok
@toothpasteonface I was wondering the same thing. I applied undecided to Weinberg and another girl from our school applied Psychology. All of our test scores, reccs etc are almost equal but my ECs are better and her GPA is 0.1 higher. Would that affect my application?
@thehomosapien It doesn’t matter if there are ten or hundred applicants from the same high school - each applicant is given a decision based on his/her own merit and nothing else.
what are some “lower” SAT scores that got accepted by NU in the past that you know of?
@toothpasteonface I don’t know, but according to the common data set, 1390/1600 (CR+M) is the 25th percentile for the class of 2019
