@kahllegebaddie123 A 35 ACT is definitely high enough. Do you have strong activities, a nice GPA, leadership positions, volunteering, and good writing pieces?
Is 2090 on the SAT too low to be considered seriously?
@jsharpe101 Some might argue yes, but to be honest i don’t think it should matter. Literally, the difference between a 2090 and a 2200+ is just a couple of questions and a bit of luck. The adcoms are most definitely aware of this fact.
my ACT is 4.0 unweighted and 4.5 weighted…I participate in a women’s intramural rugby team, community bellydancing club, debate team, knowledge bowl, student government vice president, and I’m the president of the Spanish club and bad mitton captain, I volunteer at least once a week…hopefully that is enough I really don’t know what to expect @eskaliding

What do y’all think of the writing supplement? It wasn’t very long, so I’m not sure whether the essay weighs heavily in their admissions process…

@jsharpe101 Yeah, I don’t think a 2090 is a deal breaker. I have a 2190 which is SO annoying because so many people say 2200+ is ideal but I would hope a 10 point difference won’t make or break my application.

What other decisions have you all gotten/will you be getting this week?
@cheerleader16 I did not apply to U Chicago but obviously that is coming out today. Personally I will be getting UCLA, Johns Hopkins, and possibly Univeristy of Rochester this week. I think there is a lot of overlap between Johns Hopkins and Northwestern applicants so it will be interesting to see what happens this week.
