Waitlisted!! Four accepted, Three waitlisted…No rejections Seven more decisions to go…

Rejected.

Homeschooled student with virtual school classes and college classes
4.0 UW GPA
32 ACT
2100 SAT
About 60 college creds FOR FUN. Not trying to or wanting to transfer them, just love learning.
Good essays
Dont know how my letters of rec were
SAT II Math 2: 690
SAT II Lit: 660
Competitive cheerleader, competitive shooter, about 500 volunteering hours, 3 jobs so far, ice skating, youtube channel owner, active in my library book club and advisory club,

I didn’t turn in a 3rd SAT subject test (which is required for homeschool students) because I didn’t know I had to until it was too late and it kinda made me mad that it was required of us anyways, so that was tbh probably my major tipping point. My application was technically unfulfilled even though I had so many school and college classes. Whatevs, I applied mostly because I liked the campus. Sorry to those that didnt get in, and congrats to those that didn’t!

First rejection but I was kind of expecting it. I wrote the essay the day it was due, didn’t visit, essay wasn’t very good. Got a LL for Cornell though so the rejection actually stings less than I though it would… :slight_smile:

Does anyone know when financial aid decisions are available?

What’s the link where I can review my admissions decision?

@DetroitLeper. It’s ugadmission.northwestern.edu/account/login

@james1998iq I never got one, I just checked myself

@wifigirl - it won’t be available for 24 hours

ACCEPTED!!!

Rejected
First rejection letter… stings:( - But I was expecting it anyways so lol

ah lol. rejected ayy lmao
36 act, 800 subject tests, great ec’s, avg class rank though. good job to those who got accepted, and good luck to all!

@james1998iq - You are avg? So what do the top students in your class have?

Rejected too :frowning:
2260 SAT1, 2400 SAT 2, great grades and ECs. just one of those things…
Hope JHU and UCLA go better

@NicolasCageAf - the 2260 puts you right in line for UCLA. No worries on that front. Fight on! :smiley:

Accepted!!! I can’t believe it. I was mentally preparing myself for a rejection or waitlist, and to be surprised by this is just beyond words. :-))))

@james1998iq Jeez ayy lmao

did anyone get an email about decisions being released or did everyone just check the portal

@fboro16 No one has gotten an email as far as I know. Decisions are on the portal

Edit: Sorry, my bad - apparently some people did receive an email.

Daughter got email saying to check portal. Accepted! Said financial aid will be available in a week - you have to make a new NU email account.
