Whatever happens, keep in mind that college is only one step toward your dreams and whether we get into NU or not, we need not lose sight of our real mission- to live as happily, abundantly and generously as we can to better ourselves and the world as we know it. YOUR success and happiness is up to you. Let’s all keep that in mind when decision day comes out. I wish you all health, safety and peace of mind in these upcoming weeks.

Well I just finished my RD application and all of you are nervous about the ED …good luck! Can’t wait to see where the decisions fall.
what made you guys like NU?? I’m super curious lol. for me it was a bunch of stuff but primarily the communications dept., their alumni support, the big 10 spirit but smaller size/private school vibe, greek life, chicago/suburbs and the extracurricular opportunities…which i guess is basically everything hahah
One of a kind of odd reason I love NU so much is that it has an awesome peer environment.
Every single time I visited NU, their students always superise me, they are all happy, friendly, and extreme knowledgeable. They are that kind of kids I want to make friends of, and also the type of person I want to be. (And I think no one would make fun of my English accent at NU
I am hoping no matter what happen after Dec 15th, I can still be able to study final exams peacefully and finish my safeties’ applications
10 days… im not sure if i want my decisions because if i get in, obviously i want to know now…but if i dont, its a huge motivational boost to finish my RD supplements
what are you guys gonna do right when (if) you guys are accepted? im going to scream and tell my family…my friends…then upload a fb status…and hopefully go out to eat at a restaurant of my choice… lol 
@w17mywoes dye my hair in a awkward purple color, wear NU shirt possibly every single day, and a family spring vacation!
@w17mywoes I would stare at the screen in shock for an hour or so. After that, I would tell my family and close friends. And for the rest of the days ahead, I would smile and grin like I’ve just won the lottery!! :DDD

Northwestern means something else to me than what you guys put lol. To me, Northwestern is a environment where I can expand and grow and discover and seek and find passion because the poeple at Northwestern are just so… driven. If I get accepted, I cannot wait to meet my peers there, which could very much be the kind people in this thread, you guys are the ones I can confide in bc of our common interests! like what @Zpower99 put. Hope to see all you as wildcats and if not, don’t despair, there is an even more powerful opportunity waiting somewhere else.

Guys have you seen this MIT thing where some got rejected last year cause they hacked onto the site?
I know nobody hacked but is the forgetting password thing a bad thing or has it been done before?
