@musicperson no way I’m from Springfield!!! What school do you go to?
Does anyone know how easy it to transfer between undergrad schools at Northwestern? Like say I list School of Education on my Common App, if I change my mind will they let me change to Weinberg if I get accepted?
To my (limited) knowledge speaking to one of the guys at a fair he said that it’s possible but hard, and you have to get permission from both schools, it seemed like the sort of thing you do after a while there
current NU student here - switching is definitely not impossible, and transfering into/out of Weinberg and SESP is super easy once you’re on campus as well. best of luck with admission decisions, go 'cats
The above is true: have lots of friends going from Weinberg to SESP and vice versa. you just need to get established on campus before you think about it.
also, a friend of mine switched from Weinberg to McCormick over the summer pretty sure
yeah once you’re on campus it’s easy - I transferred into sesp last spring and all you need to do is go to an info session where meet wth a counselor and write a little blurb about why you want to move schools

I just got a reply email from Ugadmissions saying the decisions will come out on Wednesday

Is anyone else lacking email(s) from NU? I haven’t gotten any emails (not even a confirmation of application) from NU admissions…
@takeaderivative I’ve received 2 emails from them - one saying they have received my app and another saying my app is complete
@takeaderivative Did you apply for ED? I think most of us have gotten two emails by far: one confirmation email and another one saying we were qualified for ED.
