Rejected, but that’s fine! I had a 1400 SAT, M: 730 and W: 670, and a 98.90 weighted GPA. I have been stalking this thread for awhile now, and all I have to say is that this thread was one of the most supportive threads I have ever seen! I’m genuinely glad for those who made it into this wonderful school :). Don’t worry about me though, because I made it into two of my top choices already: Cornell and Middlebury. It’s sad that Notre Dame couldn’t be the third top choice to accept me, but I’m not going to lie I love the options I have at the moment. Good luck to everyone else!

To people asking about waitlist: you can put a deposit down at a school and remain on another school’s waitlist. If you get off the wait list, you lose your deposit and withdraw your name from the other school’s list of confirmed students.

@maflin18 The waitlist will be somewhat fluid is what they are trying to say. You will possibly have people who confirm at ND by May 1, only to get pulled off a waitlist elsewhere, and drop from ND. This could potentially happen until mid-summer. Last year, 85 students were admitted from the waitlist, the year before none were.
Is there a Facebook group for admits?
Rejected. ND would’ve been a great experience, but I also have other schools to hear from and I was accepted last week to other schools I’m excited at the prospect of attending. Congrats to everyone who was accepted! All of you are awesome no matter what your decision was.
