**Official** November SAT I Scores

Target: 2400
Composite: 2370
Math: 800
CR: 800
W: 770 (11 E, 75 MC)

Retake: No
I only took them this time because I never got around to taking it with writing (I had an 800 V and 750 M before), and I was pleasantly surprised with the increase in scores (especially writing, I was a little nervous).

Target: 1600 M+V & 750W = 2350

Composite: 2330
Math: 800
CR: 800
W: 730 (10 E, 72 MC)

Retake: No

target= anything over 2200

composite=2100
Math= 730
Cr=680
writing= 690
retake= hell yeah
I have mixed feelings right now. I`m happy because I improved my math scores from practices tests by about 40pts. But Cr and W, which have always been my strength sucked. So in my next sit I’ll focus on these two, and hopefully get over 750 on each.

target: 2200

composite: 2170
math: 620 (believe it or not, that’s a 40-point increase)
reading: 750
writing: 800 (10 essay, 80 questions)
retake: no, unfortunately–wish i could though, i’d get some more math work in. but overall i’m pretty happy…s’okay.

you can get an 800 with a 10 on the essay!?

Target: 1850

Composite: 1800
Math: 640
CR: 550
W: 610 (10 essay, 57 MC)

Retake: Yes

Target: 2200

Composite: 2180
Math: 790
CR: 640
W: 750 (11 E, 72 MC)

Retake: No, I’m done trying to prove my strengths by means of filling in little bubbles.

my essay was a piece of crab. it was a four paragraph one, though those two examples were actualy one example tore into two. no historical or scientific or any reference like that. i got a 9, though. i thought i’d get 7 or worse

67DreamTeam, I got an 800 with a 9 essay! But I thought my essay was pretty good, so College Board probably felt bad for me.

Yes, it is. I made 800 with a 10 essay (stupid lack of junior and senior level examples and no definitive opinion).

Target=2100 (Never had time to prep and was praying for the best knowing that I have two more years to retake)

Composite=2260
710 M
750 CR
800 W

Retake: Heck yes, just not this year

I was a little disappointed by my math score, although since I am slow (too careful when nervous, luckily math at school is a breeze and not worthy of anxiety) at math and was more than a little overanxious and careless on the test, I should be grateful for what I got. If I had done some practice questions, I think I would have done better. Is my score decent for a sophomore taking the SAT for the first time?

“Is my score decent for a sophomore taking the SAT for the first time?”

I hope that was a joke because if you were serious I woulda punched you in the mouth if I knew you.

don’t forget a lot of those stupid geometry forumlas and stuff are on the front of the test…i always forget about them

squiggle88— i like your thinking!!! i just wish i could get myself to think that way too

Just checked my score and got 2260. All I can say is, disappointed.

Target: 2380+

11/2005 SAT Reasoning Test
Critical Reading 760 98%
Math 780 99%
Writing 720
Multiple Choice 73 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 9 (score range: 2-12) &^(&*(& I thought I had done well!?!

Re-Test: YES.

Btw, is this score sufficient for an Ivy?

Previous Target score: 1950 Compostite/1300 M+CR

CR: 580 (so horrible!!! this kicked my ***)
M: 720
W: 720 (72, 9)
Composite: 2020/1300 M+CR

New target: 1400 M+CR, 2100 Composite. Definite retake, possibly in January. I can not endure the rest of the year knowing in the back of my mind that I’ve only achieved a measly 1300…this is too discrepant with my GPA. I am extremely confident I can raise my critical reading score as I believe I only missed 2 on the PSAT’s. hopefully this was just an isolated, sporadic, tragic brain-fart that doomed my CR below 600.

As for Math and writing, I am really quite satisfied, as this is only my first stab. Hopefully I’ll be able to score closer to perfect on these in the near future.

Target Score: 2000

CR: 770 (+20)
M: 620 (+50)
W: 760 (74, 11) (+110)

Retake: Hell no. I’m done with standerdized testing. Every single score went up since May, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Math, once again, screwed me over, but whatever, I’m getting an A- in Calculus, so boo ya College Board.

Can anyone answer my question?

Target: 2200+

Composite: 2110
Critical Reading: 710
Math: 700
Writing: 710
Multiple Choice: 69
Essay: 10

I’m actually really disappointed in my score. This entire day I kept saying to myself, “tweny one ten” god i screwed up

how many hours of prep to get those scores?

Target: 700 CR, 800 M, 700 W

CR: 630 (got 660 in June)
M: 770
W: 660
