No, the woman I spoke to said that I could if I wanted to but I was not obligated to send them…But the way she said it made me feel like I was at a disadvantage for not having them…

ek. Well, I did send my ACT scores in. But the reason why I asked her was because on my Albert page it isn’t checked off. I didn’t do too bad on them, so I have no idea what to tell you. :((

@GloablStudies –> The woman I spoke to made me feel like I was at a disadvantage because I wanted to send in a fax… It seems to be the Admission’s Staff general persona.

Sending in your scores may have been an additional bonus to your application if they were good, but if they aren’t required, then they aren’t required. They can’t hold it against you for not sending them in.

haha good point…I am just overanalyzing every portion of my application now because there is nothing I can do but wait. We better find out tomorrow

Same here… I keep wanting to fax in explanations for everything that isn’t perfect on my application, haha. I have a problem. I just want to know already. An acceptance tomorrow would make me really happy.

haha same, i am going through every detail on my app. maybe i should send in my act scores? i didnt want to cause i did really bad on science, and it brought down my overall score to a 27… i wonder if its too late now

It truly couldn’t hurt… If you could fax in a copy of the online report, they would at least receive it quickly.

I did not send in my SAT scores and I got accepted about 2 weeks ago. Good luck!

I did not send in my official SAT scores. I just sent in my transcripts college and HS and one rec.

I did not send in a midterm report as I was not enrolled in college. And I cannot log into Albert, nor have my transfer credits shown up yet.

skiglp-

Ahhh thank you for that, that gives me hope!

What school did you apply to/what are your stats if you don’t mind me asking

Ah i hope we find out somethin tomorrow!

I want to see my transfer credits on Albert tomorrow or receive a “Yay! You’re accepted” e-mail or snail mail letter tomorrow.

Ditto!
Good luck to all of us!

im just hoping for a nice fin-aid package tomorrow!

I thought I would never be on this forum ever again. I’m getting so anxious waiting for my decision (and hopefully an acceptance ^^).

Wellllll the good news is that my Arabic final has actually managed to keep me distracted from thinking about my NYU decision! The last thing I’ll be thinking about when I wake up is خعمية نيو يورك! (any Arabic speakers up in hurrr?)

I didn’t send in my SAT scores either (1880) and was accepted. You guys definitely shouldn’t lose hope as I did nothing but stress before my acceptance. Anyway, I am able to log into my Albert, so I don’t know what that means for you who are still waiting. I hope you all get in though. =(

Also, I think I’ll have to loan out about 30k for the next two years if I choose NYU (still haven’t gotten financial aid from USC) which puts me at like 75k for college overall which doesn’t seem so bad. I’m looking to go to grad school as well though, so it’ll probably be a lot more when I’m all done.

And I’ve been warned on this site twice about my language. Kind of annoying…

I had a dream last week that I was accepted. However, last night, I had a dream that I was sent an automated email with all of our CC usernames in it. It was a rejection email. I’m just having weird dreams.

Waitlisted at Columbia…c’mon NYU, really?

For the people who have been accepted and put down their deposit, have you gotten an e-mail recently about your NYU e-mail being activated? I got one an hour or so ago and it says e-mail can be accessed through NYUHome, but I can’t seem to find it there.
