<p>@caligulashorse I got an email from Jenn Wells from Steinhardt. All the information about orientation is in that email. if you do not receive it but you have been accepted you should contact someone so they forward it to you.</p>

<p>Hey I just got an email from nyu for ptk for more scholarships… Does anyone know how much they I’ve out for ptk?</p>
<p>@aszeck the PTK scholarship is 2,500, I believe that is per year. The only caveat is that you must have a 3.8 GPA going in. … I am missing out on it by .02, grrr stupid A- when i deserved an A in a Film and Lit class. Funny how something like that can literally cost you thousands.</p>
<p>I was part of PTK and my GPA qualifies for the scholarship but it didn’t appear on my financial aid… why?</p>
<p>So I got an email saying that I can register for my classes now. Problem is, not all of my credits have been accepted and I’m not sure what classes I’m supposed to take switching majors and all. </p>
<p>Does anyone know if we’re actually supposed to register for classes or not? I figured we’d get to speak with an advisor or something first…</p>
<p>@spiffyspaceman Lucky you! haha I talked to someone in admissions and they told me that I would be speaking to an adviser before enrolling, so I assume everyone would?</p>
<p>And in regards to orientation, I emailed CAS and they said for CAS students orientation is at the end of August, right after we move in on the 28th.</p>
<p>i was accepted but they told me i had to take financial acct and managerial acct this summer. does that mean if this doesn’t fall through, they’ll withdraw the offer??</p>

I called them last Thursday and they said it would be available today. I hope so.</p>

<p>Hey has anyone heard of someone getting 35k in scholarship as a transfer to nyu? That seems ridiculous to me the person in question was accepted into the Global Studies program for fall 2011…</p>
