philigirl- to gallatin? what school?

So they do send emails during weekends~

It was CAS.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1036986-nyu-2011-transfer-decisions.html

It’s the last post.

wow so now they are starting to send out decisions. i wonder how they are sending them

I was notified by email :)

what did it say?

Bump - anyone know where on albert it lists application materials missing? Mine only says “This application is Incomplete” and lists the date I applied and all.

^It says it right beneath “This application is incomplete.”

I’d just call on Monday if I were you.

do u guys think we will start hearing more decisions this week?
Anyone accepted into SCPS yet?

^ I think we should. SCPS has been sending out decisions since late March, I believe. I am hopefully transferring to the McGhee division. What about you?

Does anyone know if NYU sends acceptance letters first and then rejection letters later? Does that trend exist? Does it hold true for transfers? I had forgotten to put some extracurricular activities so I emailed admissions with my resume attached, and they said they would add it to my file. Hope it helps.

Generally, yes. Most rejection letters are post-marked near the end of the notification deadline. It is not to say that a few acceptance letters will trickle down though.

To Giantmidget,

I am facing the same problem on my albert page. It only tells me that my application is incomplete and doesn’t list the stuff that I am missing. I called to ask why and they told me to wait because they are still processing many things and they will contact me if I am missing anything. Do you think it makes a difference whether or not the stuff we are missing are actually listed on the albert page. I sent my app in on March 1, a whole month before the deadline.

Thanks.

@vihzel - hopefully into the preston school for hotel and tourism management. did you already get accepted? idk i think late march would be extremely early for decision notifications. where did you hear that from? i didnt apply until late march

@michapalooza — do you think alot of acceptances have went out already? it doesnt seem like many people on this site have received notifications yet except for like one or two people…what do u think

@lolgirl

I have no idea. If they said they will call, then you should wait for them to do so. You can call again if you want to, but I dunno if that would help.

No. Still too early. Additionally, looking at last year’s thread the majority of applicants (the ones on CC anyways) started to hear around early to mid May which is consistent with NYU’s notification date posted on their site.

I’m guessing starting next week to two weeks from now, the number of applicants hearing a decision will start to increase.

with is CC?

^ CC - College Confidential.

oh srry! haha… this whole application process is so stressfull.
nyu is still extremely tough to get into and that worries me
