@bluelife that sucks man… **** them off by declining right away haha

liang i feel like we are goin through this together!! it would be great to both get into SCPS!! i feel like no one is applying for that program

Srivera617: Since no one else is applying, SCPS should just take we two in hahah ~
I am wondering how difficult to get into SCPS coz I didn’t really see transfer stats about NYU. I know the general acceptance rate is about 35%, but no idea what the rate for SCPS is. any idea?

has anyone not submitted an SAT score to NYU… their SAT requirement has been waived? If so, have you been accepted even without sending them an SAT/ACT result?

I’ll be a junior.

that’s cool. i’m nervous about how my credits will transfer to art school, haha.

@ Concoll- I am going to CAS too! Found out on Tuesday. Whats your major? Mine is Psych. Will you live on campus?

@transfer4444: I checked many times that of you completed a full year of college, you do not have to send SAT score. I didn’t send in mine.

@CityFilmTran and Funkfreshhh

I’m a Tisch hopeful as well. Regarding the fact that we have to start during the Summer, did you guys apply as “Summer Transfers”? I did, but I wasn’t entirely sure this was right.

Hopefully we’ll hear back sooner rather than later! Good luck everyone!

So, I guess no Steinhardt applicants have heard back yet?

@Benellis

I think us NYU-Steinhardt applicants are among those with the toughest wait :-/ I hope that NYU is holding notification until 1 May. If not that then according to the office we should hear back during the 2nd week of May.

Why oh why have no Steinhardt applicants heard back? Very frustrating. I think MCC may not be as competitive as majors with an audition or portfolio so that’s in our favor, I guess.

No Stern love yet either… :(

@Desimundha7: Do you know about the difficult level of SCPS ? I apply for hospitality management program under SCPS

@lordjim - I also applied a summer transfer. I’m so anxious to hear back!

@liangg

I believe CAS & Stern are the hardest schools to get into, & I’ve heard that Steinhardt (at least the majors w/o auditions & portfolios) and SCPS are considerably much easier. BUT it’s still NYU. So, no matter which school we get into it’ll be a challenge. It’s just that we can’t compare our stats to people applying to, let’s say, Stern.

@DesertFever

I know! Someone I know has applied to Stern & he would be a great fit. But, the wait is killer. And, I’m sure they’re well into the app review process. I think if you don’t hear by 1 May then expect it by the 2nd week of May. If not then you should call the admissions office. That’s when I’ll go crazy…
