<p>Hey guys…I also just received the “application is incomplete email”…I am annoyed because I called about three weeks ago and spoke to an admissions counselor who told me it was complete. I think I’m going to call today to make sure everything is okay…does anyone remember the admissions counselors names that was mentioned earlier on in this thread? I just went through quickly and couldn’t find it.</p>

It got me really freaked out, but then I called the office of admissions and they told me that i was good to go, application wise, and that they are reviewing applications as we speak, so i should hear back sometime soon. however, soon is ambiguous, and college admissions love ambiguity. anyone else applying to tisch?</p>
<p>Got the same e-mail. Called and they said they have everything. Apparently, “the email was sent to some people who had complete applications by mistake.” </p>
<p>I think, the system sent emails to everyone whose whose Albert said their application was incomplete, even though they had everything on file.</p>

I called and they also told me everything was there. It sucks that they sent out so many emails today to people who don’t have missing documents!</p>
<p>Okletsdoit, I’m applying to tisch for film, what about you? Did you speak to a general adcom or Tisch?</p>
<p>If I remember correctly, the same thing happened last year as well. Mass e-mails were sent out on 5th May 2010, even though people’s applications were complete. Most of them heard their decisions on May 7th/8th. </p>
<p>So if it works out EXACTLY that way, although it is unlikely, we should be hearing on May 4th/5th</p>

<p>I’m applying as an economics major with an emphasis in theory. If I do get in I’ll probably pick up a math minor b/c the economic theory program is relatively math intensive. Yeah I remember reading somewhere before that cas polisci is pretty heavily applied to. But best of luck to you! Where are you transferring from btw?</p>

<p>Haha am still on hold. The music they’re playing isn’t half-bad though, so I guess it isn’t all bad. </p>
<p>Oh yea, and I did terribly this semester (~3.1, got a C+ in Linear Algebra and a C in Macro [I really don’t know how that happened, the two tests grades I knew of in Macro were a 97 and 87…I must’ve got a 0 on the final or something]), bringing my overall to a 3.53 from a 3.68. I really hope they don’t rescind any possible acceptance</p>
<p>I just received an email saying my application is incomplete even though I called a week ago and they told me my application was complete. So, I called and the student ambassador gave me a hard time, then decided to transfer me to an admissions file clerk. I’m still waiting to speak with one…</p>

<p>@Coolio2244242: Ha! I just got off the phone with them. I think I was waiting for about 25 minutes, but they were able to tell me my application is complete (RELIEF!).</p>
<p>Haha you’re both lucky. I took a risk and thought I could take a quick shower before my call was answered, but then I came back to find out that the call ended after 33 minutes. </p>

<p>It’s been 4 weeks since I got the mail that said my application was complete, and they said I should hear back after 2 weeks. I called but I got their automated message, as if I called on the weekend or something. This is ridiculous.</p>
<p>I should be hearing back from SCPS today or tomorrow… I’m so nervous!</p>
