@skiglp12161216 that is pretty weird, but hey at least you got in!

@kingSundru yeah i know of hunter, my roommate (19 yrs old) in nyc dated a girl that went there… 10 years ago… lol but they were awesome. and because of them i went to gay clubs all the time hahaha, but yeah guys have it tough for clubs. my boyfriend and his friends couldnt get in unless they were with me and a group of girls! at nyu a lot of people are party promoters though, so they would let us in for free if we came at good times. lets hope i get in!!

@enve520 lol… that’s good XD… and I figure clubs are in like walking distance from NYU… or at least not very far… so It isnt like an hour drive to go to one lol. I’m hoping to eventually do a few internships at publishing houses in NYC too… cause I’d like to be an author… which is like an impossible field… but working in a publishing house would be fine too lol

@skigl - Maybe they were in the NYU Home email? Do all applicants have NYU email? I have an account, but maybe its because I was accepted to NYU Study Abroad in London for Fall 2011.

And, in other news, I got another email from NYU. I thought, “this is it.” Said a silent prayer, and opened it, only to see its something about NYU switching to google for their email systems. ■■■.

Is it easier to get accepted for study abroad? I have seen some reports of students being told they can go to NYU if they study abroad for fall then the NYC campus Spring and on. Steinhardt is a reach for me (3.56 GPA + great EC) but I am completely open to studying abroad if it’s a deciding factor. Would you guys think I should tell them prior or only if I get rejected?

The website says that you have to have a GPA of 3.0 or above to apply.
Plus, they have a priority deadline, which is when I applied.

I applied because London is known as Stern study abroad site, as they have many business courses, so I thought it would influence the adcoms if I showed an intention to go there. Also if i get rejected, I would have NYU courses in my transcript, so it owuld maybe give me a better shot as a junior transfer.

I would tell them, as I doubt they would consider your application again after it’s been rejected.

Dude, I just want people I can go to Pacha, Cielo, and every chill bar with… I already have a couple of friends that live in Brooklyn and Staten Island and a few that go to Hunter and Fashion Institute. Hunter is a state school though.

@lauren229 ahhh k gotchaaaa… I dont really know what a bar is like… seeing as how I dont get let into them yet lol… But I imagine them to be very fun and chill…

I wish I knew people in NYC… but I will eventually lol… I’m looking forward to all the plays I’m going to see I love them :D

DUDE!!! Pacha is the best! I’ve been going there for the past three years. If you get in, you have to check out all of festivals there too (Like Electric Zoo… SOOOO GOOD!)

I want to get in and just hit up Pacha every weekend night instead of just the once a month I go now… Emery, Shultz, Aviici, Above & Beyond, Armin, PVD, ugh, so good.

@Lauren229 - I’ll hit you up if I get in, I’ve never been to EZ but getting to see AVB would be amazing. I already got into Georgetown but it’s hard to beat living in the city
